Music videos are integral to the promotion and sales of your songs.  Nowadays, everyone has access to a decent camera and editing software is cheaper than ever before.  Still, it remains a mystery to many artists out there who simply do not possess the knowledge or the time to do it on their own.

Over at the CDBaby DIY Blog, they sat down with Wons Phreely, an Australian-born, LA-based synth-pop artist who recently did his own video with a budget under $1,000.

Not only did he do his own video-- it's pretty great, too!
